Opt-In Path 1: Auraline Account Registration

A user who creates an Auraline account provides consent for their own mobile number through the following process:

  1. The user opens the Auraline mobile application and begins account registration.

  2. The user enters their own mobile phone number.

  3. The user is shown a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default.

  4. The user must actively select the SMS consent checkbox before consenting to receive Auraline text messages.

  5. The user verifies ownership of the mobile number using a one-time passcode.

  6. Auraline records the mobile number, consent timestamp, disclosure version, and verification result.

The SMS consent checkbox is separate from general acceptance of Auraline’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

SMS Consent Disclosure Shown During Registration

I agree to receive recurring non-marketing account and safety notification text messages from Auraline LLC, including emergency-contact connection updates and safety alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. View our Terms and Conditions, SMS Policy, and Privacy Policy.

Opt-In Path 2: Emergency-Contact Invitations

An Auraline account holder may invite a trusted person to become an emergency contact. Before Auraline sends the invitation text, the intended recipient must expressly agree to receive the one-time invitation.

The process is:

  1. The account holder asks the intended emergency contact for permission to have Auraline LLC send one invitation text.

  2. The intended recipient expressly agrees to receive the invitation.

  3. The account holder enters the recipient’s mobile number in the Auraline application.

  4. The account holder is shown a separate confirmation checkbox that is unchecked by default.

  5. The account holder must confirm that the recipient expressly agreed to receive the invitation.

  6. Auraline records the inviting account, recipient number, timestamp, consent method, disclosure version, and invitation attempt.

  7. Auraline sends one invitation text.

  8. Auraline sends no recurring messages to the recipient unless the recipient creates an Auraline account, completes the account-registration SMS consent process described above, and verifies their own number.

Permission Disclosure

Before completing the invitation, the account holder must ask the intended recipient:

“May Auraline LLC send you one text message inviting you to become my Auraline emergency contact? Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Auraline’s Terms and Privacy Policy are available at auraline.com.”

Invitation Confirmation Checkbox

I confirm that this person expressly agreed to receive one emergency-contact invitation text from Auraline LLC at the mobile number entered. I informed them that message and data rates may apply and that they may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
